Everything PAPPA does
This is the list of what is in the app today. We are in a closed beta, so some things will change, and we only list what already works.

Training
Log the session you are actually doing.
Log a workout your way
Pick one of your routines or start from any exercise in the library, then record your sets and weights as you go. You do not need to plan a session in advance. Whatever you log is saved to today.
An exercise library you can search
Find an exercise by name or muscle and add it to a session. Cardio has its own tab.
Identify a machine from a photo or QR tag
Point your camera at a gym machine, or scan its QR tag, and PAPPA identifies it and lets you keep your settings for it. My Gym is the list of equipment you actually have access to, which is what lets the app suggest exercises you can really do.
A rest timer that gets you back to the bar
Between sets, a timer counts your rest and turns red at sixty seconds, with a Start Set button when you are ready for the next one.
Cardio, with its heart rate
Log a cardio session with its time and distance. Open the heart rate, incline and machine readout section to type in average and maximum heart rate, or add it afterwards by importing a .FIT file exported from Garmin Connect.
A bad signal does not lose your workout
If the connection drops when you finish a session, the workout is kept on your phone and sent again when you are back online.
Nutrition
Know what you ate, without the arithmetic.
Search the food database and log it
Search for a food, choose your portion, and it is added to the day with its calories and macros. Foods you enter yourself are saved so they are quicker to find next time.
Snap a meal and PAPPA suggests the macros
Photograph a plate and PAPPA suggests the foods and estimates the grams, with the calories and macros for each. A photo is the weakest way to measure a portion, so you confirm the amounts before anything is saved, and a food it could not match needs you to choose one first. Treat the numbers as good estimates, not measurements.
A seven-day meal plan built from your answers
After you set up your profile, PAPPA builds a seven-day plan that takes your dietary restrictions into account, with recipes, macros per meal and ingredient swaps.
Supplements and hydration
Keep track of the supplements you take and of water and sodium, in the same place as everything else.
Recovery
See what happened, so you can decide what is next.
Bodyweight, as a trend
Log your weight and see it over time. Bodyweight moves day to day with water, food and hormones, so the trend over a few weeks tells you something and a single morning does not.
How training and recovery are going
A read-only view of your training history, your consistency, your sleep and steps, and how much work each muscle group has had over the last seven days.
Progress photos that stay private
Keep progress photographs to compare over time. They are kept in a private store and are not shown to anyone else.
Talk
Say it instead of tapping it.
Ask a question out loud
Talk is a voice assistant. Ask it something by voice or by typing, and each answer shows where it came from.
Log a meal by saying it
Tell Talk what you ate and it prepares a draft of the meal. You confirm it, cancel it, or undo it. Nothing is saved until you say so.
Say how you slept
Say something like “I slept eight hours” and Talk turns it into a draft you can see, confirm and undo, which then shows up in your recovery numbers.
A quick check-in before you train
Before a workout, Talk can ask how you are feeling, with quick-reply buttons, so how you feel is recorded alongside the session.
Planning
Decide what happens next.
Routines and a weekly planner
Build routines, swap an exercise for another that works the same muscle, and lay your week out in the planner.
Events and contest prep tools
Put a date on an event and follow the milestones toward it. For people preparing for a show, there are tools for peak week, taper and a posing routine.
A community that earns its standing
Challenges, a leaderboard, and a Q&A where an athlete’s standing comes from accepted answers and votes from other athletes. A new community starts at zero.
Your data
It is yours. Take it or delete it.
Export everything
Download all of your data as JSON, which keeps the full structure, or as CSV, which opens in a spreadsheet. You do not have to be leaving to do it.
Delete your account and your data
From your profile you can delete your account. You type the email you signed in with so it cannot happen by accident. It removes your profile, workout logs, nutrition history and media files, and it cannot be undone.
PAPPA is a tracking and planning guide. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for your coach or your doctor, and no outcome is guaranteed.
